It's been a while since I have been on here (haven't had any issues for a while). I have an 03 Civic with 68k miles that blows hot when I first crank it up (outside temp around 90). I doesn't start to cool until I get moving. I haven't attached my gauges yet to see pressures, but I wanted some advice before I get to that point of what I need to look for.

Most common problem is excessive clutch/idler pulley gap, I like 20 mils, may have to remove a shim or two. Easy to spot with a cold engine on a warm day, start the engine and observe if the clutch hub is turning.
