Need a cluch coil

medium1 on Fri May 13, 2011 8:39 PM User is offline

Year: 2000
Make: Saturn
Model: type s
Engine Size: 1.9
Refrigerant Type: 134
Country of Origin: United States

Lost the third cluch coil open in 3 years. I need to buy a used compressor to get the cluch ciol and wanted to know if anyone knew which cars used the same compressor and clutch coil? Its a 2000 Saturn type S it has a 2 pin plug connector but uses only 1 pin and wire. It's hard to find a cheap compressor for that specific car when I only need the coil. I have replaced it twice before and it is an easy job.

If your clutch gap is a tad too wide, hub will overheat, and the first thing to fry would be your clutch coil. Your compressor may be just be seized enough to work, but overloading your clutch. Here the clutch and coil are the victims and not the culprit. Would find exactly what that culprit is.

Could buy clutch coils in OEM quantity. A lot cheaper if you buy a thousand.
