I need to add dye to my ac i need to know how much to add and if i can buy it at the local parts store

Your truck should have it from the factory.. I'm not 100% sure, but most do today, anyway, if you're adding to an empty system (without dye in it) you can add 1/8 to1/4 ounce, no more.. If you're changing a part, just use the correct amount of PAG 46 oil with Dye in the oil same if you've flushed the system...

If it has factory dye, you will see it in the service ports.
