4 port electric heater valve??

PANTERA2511 on Wed September 08, 2010 1:14 AM User is offline

I am seeking an electric - not vacuum - 4 port heater valve. Preferably 5/8" for all ports.

I've found information on a Thermotion valve - PN 354-69494 but have found no vendor selling it.

I've also found one on eBay, part of a conversion kit, but have not been able to identify it.

Any help you can offer as to original application, part numbers, purchasing information is appreciated.

Thanks,

Larry

That valve you listed? They are OEM suppliers, they might be able to tell you what car that wound up on. Some of the other valves on that site I recognize - the 2 way vac units were used on a lot of fords. That valve is likely a stepper motor, since they call out a six pin plug for it.

There are some bypass valves in use on newer cars. The '03 to '05 Lincoln LS used an electric valve. '03 - '04 Cadillac CTS used a vacuum valve with a solenoid valve attached.

I use a vacuum unit, like the the AC Delco P/N 155536 It was used on G vans, and P vans from 1990 to 1996, as well as some chrysler products starting about 1988. They are cheap (less than 12 bucks) and reliable. Also available from local stock nationwide. A small solenoid valve makes them "electric".
