Thanks in advance.

There are a lot of factors that come into play when determining "ideal" pressures. Mitchell states that at 77*-86* ambient temperature, your pressures should range from 199-270psi on the high side and 21-43psi on the low side. Ambient temperature, humidity, cooling system performance, fan operation and a lot of other things come into factor when trying to determine the correct pressures. What vent temperatures are you getting with those pressures? Has the system ever been serviced? Has it been leak checked? All things that should be looked at.

Thanks for the quick reply.
I figured as much on all the technical stuff that has to be present for the best results on the temp. I've not had a chance to take the temp but I will and report back. The AC has never been serviced............its always been working okay for the most part. I just thought I'd take a look as see if it needed some recharging.

I played with the low side pressure and found that 52psi works great for my vehicle. A/C is working great now. I think I had just a little too much freon.

Thanks again for the help.
