Question for AMA: 21-24657B - GM O-ring Assortment Kit

SeppW on Tue August 17, 2010 8:36 PM User is offline

Tried email, but no response. These o-rings are not the same thickness as the black ones on the vehicle. Are these supposed to swell or what? I had order o-rings from GM dealer and they are are same thickness as the old ones.

Some o-rings will be what is called a captured o-ring. They will be thicker and are the proper ones to use. As far as I know, as we don't package the kits. They have a few captured o-rings in them. What email did you send a request to as the staff should have responded to any & all question our customers have. We get a lot of spam so it couple have gotten caught it the filters also. That is why we also have a phone number listed on our website.

Email is not a perfect system! We have a 3 level spam protection setup and some mail can get caught in there that I don''t see. If you fail to get a response always feel free to call or send a email directly to me. As I scour my personally spam folder with more attention than the main accounts to to volume of Spam.

Emailed: AThilges@ackits.com on 31 JUL 10, subject: O-Ring Kits; Recently ordered CP3010 - 1989-2005 General Motors System O-ring Kit. The kit has no matching o-rings for the condenser fittings. The OE o-rings are black and while they match the diameter, the green ones aren’t as thick as the black. Is that by design or purpose?

Again we do not package these kits ourselves. Post up an image of the 2 and I'll forward it to the manufacture.
