New guy here from Virginia, I have a 1985 El Camino with a 454 engine. Right after I purchased it, I decided I would like to convert it to a serpentine system. I bought a set off a ninety four 1500 truck. When I installed it I had to move the compressor from the left side to the passenger side. Question is, where can I get some hoses made up to work on my system? I talked to a mechanic at Auto Air here and he did not seem to enthusiastic about working on it. I have a s-10 condenser, and hard line, I need the flex hoses, and I guess an after market compressor block. The after market hoses do not fit a gm drier. The drier fitting is too large. Any advise would be appreciated......merc

Call the guys that run this forum at AMA. They are incredible with setting you up with special circumstances like this. Your going to buy it anyway... I try to get all my AC needs from them except little stuff I need now from the local auto parts store.

Try (www.ackits.com). I believe they can make you a custom hose if you can give them the specs. Good luck!

I guess those people don't answer their emails, seems to me if they didn't want to take on the job they would have the cur testy of answering the mail. So, I'm going to have to look else where. No help here.....
