Refrigerant Type: r134a

I need to work on my Firebird and replace an old hose that has a slow leak. How is the best way to flush the a6 compressor? I know I need to use new oil to flush it but I want to know if there are any pointers on this.

With the A6, be sure to pull the sump plug, and drain it. Add the flush oil to the sump, and some to the suction. Dump the sump oil after flushing.

Compressor flushing Procedures

Just follow the link info. You may need a couple of drain & fill cycles on the sump if you are switching lubricants.
