Is it possible to run the compressor using a toggle switch? Need to know what type of signal it needs. It had a 4.0 V6 and some on installed a 5.0 V8 in it and I can not find the plug for the compressor.

where did the plug go?? had to be there if the original had AC, but short answer, you can hook up a toggle switch, but do it to the cycling switch so the system will cycle when needed, but if it were me, I'd find the proper wiring and do it right.. Alldata should have wiring diagrams...
