Thanks to AMA, Tim, Rob, Bohica, and Ice-N-Tropics for the help and parts on truck. See "weak Pete" for write-up. Replaced compressor, o-tube, and accumulator, removed 32 oz. of oil before flushing w/Heacat system; you were right on Ice, flushed more oil out, just didn't collect it. Blow dried w/dry shop air 2.5 hrs, 12oz. oil, new o-rings w/Nylog, vacuumed 3 hrs, charged by weight. No leaks, vent temp. 46 F. Total cost $475, local shop wanted $950, Pete dealership $1400. I didn't charge any labor, good friend w/wife and 2 kids struggling to make ends meet. Toggled off fan, high pressure went to 250 PSI, fan cut on automatically and pressures dropped immediately. Thanks to your help all seems good and saved a good man a bunch of money and is comfortable again. Many, many thanks to all and for this forum.
Sincerely,
Herbert Arrowood
