hanging pf condenser

going to install pf condenser , 91 exploder, is it wise to butt it up against radiator,or add space bettween the two?? if adding space,how much??

Don't let them touch. If they do they will rub holes in each other. Don't use those quick things that go through the rad and condensor to mount it. They will rub holes in the tubes eventully.

I don't think it matters how far apart the rad and condensor are if you seal around the edges with foam.

I mounted one in my '72 El Camino with about a 3" gap between radiator. Works great.

If possible I like 1/2 inch between the radiator and condenser. That is with a very solid mount so as stated they do not rub and cause a leak.
