Trying to Pull Vacuum, only 22 Inces of Mercury

My buddy (HVAC tech) came over and we filled the system with one can of refrigerant and he pumped it to 125 PSI of nitrogen. It slowly lost 5 PSI after almost an hour. We found a very small leak in the condenser and a decent size leak in the compressor so I've ordered those parts. He confirmed that the vac pump wouldn't work with that amount of oil. After parts replacement, we'll attempt to vacuum the system again and refill it.
