Denso compressors using R-134a refrigerant normally take PAG-46 (ND-8) oil. If you can find double-end-capped PAG-46, so much the better.

No!

To a degree, you can't even go by OE standards anymore. Most compressors on sites like the tag posted use import compressors. A Nippondenso 10pA15C and an import 10PA15c may use different PAG oils. You need to have a source that knows what product you're buying. In the example, would running Pag 46 be harmful? Probably not, but if the import was designed for Pag 100. It would be best to run the proper Pag oil.

You have to excuse the snarky replies - some are jealous that some made a fortune as a used car dealer.

If I post that today is Saturday, someone will complain that on another planet in a galaxy far, far away it is actually Tuesday.

Tony, I don't think much about what you claim to have done.

This site is to help others with "proper" repairs and has been doing this since 1997. In this case, the proper Pag oil should be recommended. As well as to instill the best performance and longevity of the component. If you don't know. A mediocre response is not helpful.

Stop whining and be helpful!
