1997 Suburban

I have a 1997 Suburban with front and rear AC. I am being told by Napa and Autozone to use PAG 46 oil, but I know I have seen online in various places to use PAG 150. Does anyone know what the real answer is? For future reference, where can I go to get this info on my own AND be able to trust it? There is so much opinion out there pertaining to cars, that sometimes it's hard to get straight info from the manufacturer! Also, I am installing a new compressor and accumulator. What is the preferred method to add the oil. Should I pour it right into the compressor? If so, does it matter which of the two openings I put it into? I've seen people pour it into the fill line on the gauge set before attaching it to the refrigerant can also.
Thanks for the help!

Your OEM accumulator has the oil part number on the label- google it and see specifications.

The oil won't go in the discharge hole of the compressor (the small one) there is not enough room in that cavity-- but it will all go in the suction port- the larger port (and pipe) there should be an "S" and "D" in casting by each port on rear head. All the system Oil in the compressor is a non-issue- absolutely every compressor ever installed on an engine has had all the system oil (8 ounces usually) in its belly from day one start up at the assembly plant...been there done that...
