I own a 2010 Chevy equinox. Started with hearing a noise that reminded me of a value about to blow(knocking) and also that it was not blowing as cold as normal. Realized it was only when i had the AC on. So I did a little research an figured it was the pulley. So while I was waiting to get the pulley in, I decided to recharge the system like I had to do about 1.5yr ago. When I put the pressure gauge on it read over 100 so I released some pressure. After all of the refrigerant was released the noise stopped with the ac still running so i now know it is not the pulley. So I went to add some refrigerant and it immediately went back to a high pressure and the noise started again. Any ideas? Is it a bad ac compressor DONT have the money for a mechanic so any info will help THANK YOU VERY MUCH
