A6 rebuild or replace

I have to address this on my 69 Caprice....the system was empty and not pressurized when I bought it...it has 134 fittings on it. I have the original A6 compressor...who rebuilds these for such an application? What else should be done while I am at it?

Thanks. Can you run down what all you do to rebuild/update improve the a6 and also anything done to restore or preserve...and finally cost?

I can supply a modern aluminum body A6 for $280.00 plus freight.
Can also offer a reman for $250.00 plus freight.

Thanks Tim. I was really interested in rebuilding the numbers matching original unit which is still with the car.

That's a good price! I remember the old A6 very well, at one time they were bullet proof.
