I converted the R12 system on my '87 DeVille to 134a some years ago. The suggestion made to me about which orfice tube to use for the 134a was Ford blue, instead of the GM white. The AC system has worked fine ever since.

Thanks Tim for the info. Sometime soon I'll be changing the compressor/etc. on my Deville due to front seal leak. When I get around to dealing with that project, I'll replace the valves with new ones rated for AC. (new compressor installed in '96) Car not a daily driver is main reason for service le...

really? How does that work and where to find? I've got one leaking on the High side. Cap keeps it in check, but I'd like to replace it so I can use my gauge. Thanks
