First step with those pressures is to look at the drive end of the compressor and make sure the hub in the center is spinning, not just the belt pulley
Come back with that information and we can go from there.

Most of us drain the high side hose back to the system when we are done. So for fun I just charged my 6 foot high side hose on the gauge set with liquid. 36.5 grams according to my charging scale. Better leave yourself plenty of room to swing TWO wrenches wherever you leave a flare joint. Be prepared to apply 45 to 80 ft/lbs of torque to the fittings to meet spec. Once you have 2 or more bends in a hard line it becomes really difficult to "thread" anywhere. The minimum bend radius f...

How does the rear evaporator perform? Vent temps?
300 psi on the high side is common here on a 10 year old vehicle at 108 - 110 f.
We call 108f "9am in Havasu". Our goal is to keep the high side under 400 psi in Death Valley.

The FSM will have a chart with some wide ranges based on ambient temperature and humidity. Probably why the dealer says it is good enough. It does sound like the system is short on capacity. So use the tangential exit block, and a couple of short drop 90 degree fittings. Move the service ports off of the compressor - they don't need to be there.
Or use a 90 on one port and a 45 or 135 on the other. Lots of plumbing choices.

TBH I have never needed to re-clock an FS 10. There are passages inside to transfer intake and exhaust gasses from the pulley end to the rear - remember there are double ended pistons in that compressor. Both ends are a cylinder head.
