Re: Advice needed
Autozone parts guy? AC Pro? See my tag sig line. Does not sound legit at all. I would be more interested in the high side than the low side on this one. If the compressor is not actually pumping, then the low side will show high pressure (into the red full). If it is pumping and the high side is goi...

Re: A/C low pressure port showing slight vacuum
The thing about this forum is if you are patient, willing to listen and do as suggested, there are people here who are willing to help. I have come across many of the same problems I have read about here. I have gone back to old thread and found solutions to problems. If you want to keep going with ...

Re: A/C low pressure port showing slight vacuum
No one here (that I am aware of) is going to tell you to put in leak stop of any sort. The proper thing to do is find the leak, repair it, then recharge it. Because you are using 12A (basically propane), I'm going to assume you are in Canada or somewhere else where you cannot purchase 134a without a...

Re: Automotive ac mode changes
Does it ever switch any other way like from floor to dash (bottom to top)? Kinda sounds like a faulty mode door actuator, the little electric motor that controls where a door is positioned, thus where the air flows.

Trailblazer electric fan clutch, educate me please
My wife had been complaining that the ac was not working very well on her 04 trailblazer. The gauges appeared to show low static pressure. I did not have recovery equipment with me at that time. I started it up (warm engine), this was a week or so ago. Low was about 50, high 200ish, about 90 air tem...

Re: expansion valve help
Any chance that the water sitting on the evaporator could cause it to rust and leak? I have replaced more evaporators this year than any other year and have been wondering this.
Thanks
Thanks

Re: 2010 chevy cutaway school van conversion
Do you know much history on this project? Has the front ever worked the way it was when you got started working on it? The reason I ask is "maybe" the oriface tube is just not there and that is the problem. Just thinking, but maybe someone thought it was just a filter and did not put one b...
