Santech Compressor Parts.

Working on a quick compressor parts list via compressor model. Currently going down the list as I have time. If someone needs a specific compressor model, post up and I add the item to the page.

You need to do something about your shipping costs.

Re: Ford E6DH compressor

Let's start with the flushing - What solvent are you flushing with? How are you removing it? Next the oiling - it sounds like you had too much oil once, and are overcomplicating the oil charge. The only way to be sure of the oil charge is to clean the system to bare metal & drain the new compre...

At this point, cheapest option to try is the Blue OT.

Condenser is not really showing signs of a heat load issue. So for now I would not replace it.

Are the inlet and outlet on the evap (pipes) the same temp. Good way to tell if it is fully charged.

Re: R134 added to R12 system

Is the system working now?

You've mixed refrigerants. So if working, don;t mess with it and wait until it fails. Then clean system and go back to R12.

Re: High side line temp from comp thru condensor and up to h block

Should have a twin fan set-up. One mechanical and one electric. These were never good conversions without an upgraded condenser. I would bet wetting the condenser pressures will come down and vent temps as well.

Re: GM R4 Compressor - New Scroll Design. Better than Piston Type ?

PS: I spoke with my compressor guy this morning. This scroll is not all that much better than the piston R4. Bottom line it's a R4.
