Should not be screaming. Sanden's do have a rumble as mentioned. But again it's not a screaming sound by any means.

All/100% of SD508s are noisy at 2800 compressor rpm. Comp itself is ok. The addition of a aftermarket suction muffler reduces noise 20% and a discharge muffler reduces NVH another 15%. Bet it blows colder than my OEM Tacoma does, I do have a 4 door tacoma though.

Cheap = snap on. Not the brand.

Professional will snap on and then screw down to make contact.

Santech make some good level couplers.

No control valve in this model compressor. So if it not pumping and clutch engaged, dead compressor.

You can get these spacers and a high-end bike shop. They use them to space disk brakes on mountain bikes.
