We have 2 Hyundai Elantra's both of their A/C's perform the same. The Weird part is that the vent temperature of both of them gets colder as the ambient temperature gets warmer. Why would this be? For example if it is 78 out the coldest vent temp you will see will be 42 to 43 range but if it is 92 out it will blow 38. This is opposite of every other car I have had. What would be the reason for it to get colder as it get hotter out. Is it some sort of compressor that works better as the demand increases.
