Toyota Previa with REAR A/C question

540itouring on Sat June 21, 2014 5:59 PM User is offline

Year: 2005
Make: Toyota
Model: Previa
Engine Size: 2.4vvti
Refrigerant Type: R134a
Country of Origin: United Kingdom

Hi , i need to recover and recharge a toyota previa year 2005 and have never delt with a duel system before. The engine bay has a sticker saying after" bubbles go add 200 grames " and "switch rear A/C on ". This does not make much sense to me as i do not this it has a sight glass ? . The books i have list this car as 850 - 910 g and plan to recover , vac out and weigh in the 910g and run the system. Please can you confirm this will be ok as i have only ever done cars with the normal single system but can not see why this would not be the same for the dual system cars ?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Treat it like any other car, it is still a basic ac system. Evacuate, vacuum and put 800g in it and you won't be far out.
