Diagnose daul expansion valve

Refrigerant Type: 134a
Ambient Temp: 80
Pressure Low: 30
Pressure High: 200

Hi To all. How do you diagnose a bad expansion valve on a dual a/c unite with one magnetic valve on the rear unite.

If it seems to be completely blocked, there's no way to tell from outside whether its the solenoid valve or the TXV that is stuck closed. You would have to disassemble it to test the parts individually with air.

If it really has two TXV's (and not the front OT / rear TXV setup found in most American minivans and SUV's), cutting power to the front blower would cause the front TXV to close down almost completely then you could better see pressure changes due to the rear one.
