Vacuum testing

Year: 2002
Make: toyota
Model: avalon
Engine Size: 3l
Refrigerant Type: 134a

If I pull a vacuum one cool evening then leave it to see if it holds, what effect does the next days temperature (hot ) have on the reading?
Should it stay the same or become less vacuum on the meter while high ambient then revert when ambient drops?

In other words does ambient temp affect gage reading?

A perfect vacuum is the existance of nothing, so it doesn't change with temperature. But a dial gauge reads gauge pressure, so its reading of an unchanging system pressure (vacuum or otherwise) will change with barometric pressure. The effect is small enough to not be noticed in ordinary work.

NO, ambient temp affect gauge reading. It should not make any changes if you use it again.
