Adjustable evaporator thermostat

I'm looking to replace my TSV with an adjustable evaporator thermostat. Does anyone make an aftermarket adjustable that is preferably thermistor based?

I've searched, but the only thing I've found are capillary tube based...but even these are usually dead links

Thanks!

I take it the TSV is bad and you can't find a replacement? A TSV/EPR/POA type setup will give you the best cooling performance....I'd say keep it if you can.

The original TSV is till working, but is for R12. If I could find an R134a TSV that would be ideal, but it isn't available.

If I could find a way to recalibrate the TSV for R-134a that would be great too. Maybe drop in a weaker spring to drop the evaporator pressure a bit...it wouldn't take much

I came across a website last week that converts expansion valves from r12 to r134a. I'll see if I can find it again.
