Year: 94

Model: Cutless Supreme
Engine Size: 3.1
Refrigerant Type: 134

Can anyone tell me what compressors can be used on my wifes car. I'm looking for one at a salvage yard. Her car is a 94 Olds Cutless Supreme with the 3.1. Thanks

The OEM pump was a V-5-- on a 3.1L W -car---it is the only option without fabrication.

The number one A/C diagnostic tool there is- is to know how much refrigerant is in the system- this can only be done by recovering and weighing the refrigerant!!
Just a thought.... 65% of A/C failures in my 3200 car diagnostic database (GM vehicles) are due to loss of refrigerant due to a leak......

Okay, that's what I'll look for. Thanks for the info!

Best of luck with the wrecking yard unit. Hope they will cover your refrigerant loss if the seals don't hold.

Well went to 3 yards and no compressor, so, came home and put the piece of s& back together. Wife is tight and won't spend the money for a new or rebuilt one so she will roll the windows down. My car is 2 years older than hers and I had it completely changed over to 134, but thats me, not her. Oh, I did find one on the net for $155 plus shipping. Thanks for all the advice.
