Who makes a decient leak detector?

Country of Origin: United States

We used to use the little black box that worked off of 120V. These worked great. Our last one finally died.

I've bought 2 of the battery operated ones and they are useless junk! Ones a Robinair I believe and my expensive one was a Mac. Neither has ever located a leak. Today I had a large leak that I could hear and neither would beep even if held directly in the leaking R134a.

I'm fed up with the useless and expensive tools at this point.

Does anybody make a decent leak detector? Where can I get the 120v black box?
