02 Nissan Frontier gremlins

Hello, I have an 02 Frontier that has been giving me problems for about a year now. It started when ac quit blowing cold, took it in and had I think the high pressure hose replaced-around $300 bucks. Lasted for about 6 months, started infrequently working, I noticed what sounded like a relay buzzing and clicking on and off. I let a SAE friend look at it, said it was the hose again, replaced it, only $150 with him doing it. Now same thin is going on, it usually works fine in the morning, but will not disengage the compressor (i think thats whats happening anyways) so it will start blowing less effectively and you can see condensation coming out of the vents. I turn it off via switch for a few minutes and turn it back on and it works fine till starts blowing what looks like fog again, rinse and repeat. In the afternoon and when its hot, it rarely, if at all will come on, when it does, its just for a few seconds, the fan is blowing but it wont be cold.

When my friend replaced the hose and re-uped the freon, he said it was out of freon because the hose was leaking, I dont want to keep replacing these hoses if there is a reason they are failing. What would cause this? Thanks!

Sound like to me you may have a plug in your drain tube. Do you see any water draining on the drive way when you park?
