smell of mud or wet soil when AC is switched on

Year: 2010
Make: Suzuki Estilo
Model: VXI
Engine Size: 1000
Refrigerant Type: R14
Country of Origin: India

My 20 days old Suzuki Estilo (1000 CC) AC is giving the smell of mud or wet soil for two minutes when AC is switched on after a gap of 3-4 hours. There is no smell when heater is on. The problem is more evident when I drove the car through wet roads with water on the road.

Please let me know what could be the reason for this and how to rectify it.

There is a lot of info, causes, and solutions to be found when searching "a/c odor".

Since the car is 20 days old, take it beck to the dealer.
