rear a/c line leak

monkeyman on Sun August 01, 2010 9:43 PM User is offline

Year: 2005
Make: chrysler
Model: town & country
Engine Size: 3.3
Refrigerant Type: 134
Ambient Temp: 85
Country of Origin: United States

My rear a/c line leaks right at the connection to the evaporator. They want $1000 to replace the refrigerant line. Is there any way to fix this without replacing the whole line? Is there a kit to plug the rear line and just use front a/c ?

Depends if the evap is leaking or just the connection. Might be as simple as a few o-rings.
