Shim Clutch for Dodge Stealth/Mitsu 3000gt

edge on Thu July 22, 2010 2:40 PM User is offline

Year: 1994
Make: Dodge/Mitsubishi
Model: Stealth RT/ 3000GT SL
Engine Size: 3.0
Refrigerant Type: R134A
Ambient Temp: 95 F
Pressure Low: NA
Pressure High: NA
Country of Origin: United States

The clutch sounds like it is slipping on my 94 Dodge Stealth R/T with MSC105CVS compressor. I am getting a screeching noise with the AC on from 2500 rpm up or when I rev the motor. Noise is not coming from the compressor and cooling is less due to the slipping. The belt tension is OK, but have not checked the clutch gap yet. Factory manual specifies a gap, but I am wondering if it is possible to shim this clutch? Where and what p/n could I get a clutch shim kit and a pulley bearing ( if needed)? Thanks.
