Condenser Part Number Verification

Chewed 71'er on Tue July 06, 2010 8:12 PM User is offline

Year: 1993
Make: Oldsmobile
Model: Cutlass Ciera
Engine Size: 3.3
Refrigerant Type: R134a
Country of Origin: United States

Does AMA offer exact replacement and generic PF condensers? Looking to replace the original R12 tube-and-fin in my '93 Olds Ciera. AMA lists a condenser, PN 640197PL. Just want to verify this is a PF condenser and correct part number. Also, if generics are available, are adapter kits inclusive (plumbing, brackets)?

The 640197PL is a T&F condenser as per the OEM design. The universal condenser we offer are just that, universal. You would need to have a hose set made to match the fittings on the condenser. Most shops that can rebuild hoses should be able to do this for you. We can if the vehicle was in the shop.
