I am planning on getting a universal parallel condenser for my 83 Camaro. The fittings on my old condenser are located in the center of the condenser at the end. They are attached to the condenser via hard lines at the top and bottom. How would I go about adapting the fittings to my high side hose and liquid line? I was thinking of cutting off the old lines and getting them welded to the fittings on the new condenser.
I remember seeing hose/hard line compression couplers somewhere, but can't find them now. Would that be a reliable option?
I uploaded a picture of my setup. It looks like the only way to view it is to copy and paste the URL below.

Depending on which PF condensor you put in, the compressor discharge line might work as-is, or perhaps a slight bend in the aluminum tube at the end of the hose:
Hard to say on the liquid line from that picture. Is it a rubber hose further back from the condensor? If so, AMA can rebuild it a bit longer to fit your needs.

That photo looks like mine when I post them.......very large......
The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.
