Oil Injector Use

jdc25180 on Mon May 31, 2010 9:57 PM User is offline

Year: 2001
Make: Lexus
Model: Is300
Engine Size: 3.0
Refrigerant Type: r134a
Ambient Temp: 75
Pressure Low: 0
Pressure High: 0

Question:
I've bought a reman compressor, new condensor/dryer, and new evaporator. I'm starting to tear the car down to replace the parts and was going to add the specific amount of oil to each component using a syringe. Now I see an oil injector on a few sites and wanted to make sure that this is only used when adding oil to a currently charged system. I will not need to purchase an oil injector correct if I add oil to each component?
Thanks for helping a newb!

No, just get the required capacity in the compressor and you will be good. Might turn the hub a few times once it all together before charging it.
