So, It's time to re-install the factory A/C that was taken off the truck years ago, and I need some advice. I am going to use the factory evaporator, and a newer serpentine type condensor with the system. My question is, seeing the original compressor was an FS6 type, what would be the equivalent sanden type? The bracketry is not an issue, so going to the sanden seems to be a worthwhile upgrade. I just don't know if I need the 8 c.i. version, or the 10 c.i. version. When I retrofitted my york compressor on my 79 bronco, I went with the sd7 series, as the york was closer to 10 c.i. I'm open to suggestions. Thanks

Either compressor would work fine for this application! Most after market kits would use the SD508 or Seltec equivalent.
