Model: gti

Got a new Evap core and its different then the one its replacing. The original had a small hollow tube to place the capillary tube in, its the one on the top with the red wire. The bottom is the replacement evap core with no hollow tube for the capillary. It does have a 3/8" hole through the core can I just put the capillary tube in that hole??

Just need to get the tube deep enough into the core to get a proper reading. I prefer to have the probe adjacent to where the blower motor forces air through the core.
