Can i use any other type of compressor to replace the York model 210 vertical, with suction on the top right. It has a 2V pulley. I have heard this type York is not very efficient.
I would like to update the AC system. Is there some one out there that can help me.
Thank you in advance,

You can use the York to Sanden/Seltec adapter plate and then either a Sanden or Seltec compressor. Some hose modification will be needed but that's not much of an issue. If you need further information feel free to contact our staff as we all would be glad to help get you what you need for this project.

As mentioned, the adaptor plate will work. I have used them in the past with excellent results. One thing to be careful of is to make sure you line up the pulley groves. There is a lot of play for adjustments. One trick I use is to take a laser pointer and lay it into one pulley, sight the mark in the center of the other pulley. Place a straight edge on the face of the pulleys to make sure they a squared up. Return to the laser pointer and re-sight the groves.
