A minor Leak

abbouddi on Wed March 03, 2010 7:51 AM User is offline

Year: 2007
Make: Mazda
Model: 6
Engine Size: 2000
Refrigerant Type: 134a
Ambient Temp: 32 deg C
Pressure Low: 25
Pressure High: 230
Country of Origin: Saudi Arabia

I changed 6 monthes ago high side hose connected to the compressor, I recharged to the exact amount, everything ok, then now I feel a decrease in the efficiency of cooling, and I checked the pressure according to manufacturer recommendation, I found some drop (low side 18 and high side 200) while according to manufacturer (low side should be 25 and high side shoud be 230) so I realized there is a minor leak. I checked all hoses connections, i can not find even a single trace of leak. How to find this minor lek without using DIY . Thanks

You can use a Leak Detector or soapy bubbles (Big Blu). If this is not an option then you will need to take it to a shop for this service to be performed.
