2006 Ford Expedition AC Leak

blueizanr on Tue September 29, 2009 5:46 PM User is offline

Year: 2006
Make: Ford
Model: Expedition
Engine Size: 5.4?
Refrigerant Type: ?
Ambient Temp: ?
Pressure Low: ?
Pressure High: ?

I recently had my freon refilled and my drain line flushed 2 weeks ago. ($100) Well my air is not cooling again so that makes think there is a leak. My vehicle is barely 3 years old, should it have ran out that quickly? How much does something like this costs to repair? Any suggestions would be super helpful.

You will never have to refill your refrigerant. If it needs some, it is leaking and must be repair before recharging the system. At only 3 years old it is a little out of the ordinary for it to leak already. I would take it to a shop that can diagnose where the leak is and fix it before you try to recharge the system again. Also what do you mean by drain line flushed?
