Year: 1981
Make: Buick Regal
Model: Sports Coupe
Engine Size: 3.8
Refrigerant Type: R134a
Pressure Low: 35
Country of Origin: United States

Gentleman,

A warm, (or should I say very cool), thanks from a 'know nothing' shade tree mechanic. My sincere gratitude to the forum members, GM Tech, iceman2555, TRB and especially Chick for sending me a spare pressure sensor port plug. I attempted to rebuild a NOS R4 compressor and succeeded.

Pressure reading for the low side is 35-PSI with a temperature reading at the center vents nearest to the evaporator between 39 and 40-degrees (F). Now my old turbo car can cruise with 94 plus degree temperatures here in the Sunshine State without shame, or piles of sweat pouring from my forehead.

You guys rule! Thank you for your very noble assistance.....
