Help with cooling fan operation

Hello all. I've been having some random issues with my A/C and I'm not quite sure if there is a problem, or not. First off, can anybody describe the cooling fan operating parameters with the A/C being on? Reason why I am asking is that lately, the fans only come on low speed setting. I noticed other friends of mine who have the same car, I can hear their high speed fans on. At times, I can hear my high speed fans on, but like I said it seems intermittent that my low speed fans are on at times.

Anybody have any idea on what may cause this? Or is this something normal?

Thanks in advance.

Dustin

Multi speed fans operate from heat, AC condenser temp etc.. Make sure your cooling system is properly filled, and if the AC is woking OK, and not raising the temp guage,. it may be just fine..As head pressure builds up (condenser heat) high speed fan operation is called for, dsame with engine heat...
