99 Honda Civic not cooling well

aliaZ on Sat June 27, 2009 12:11 AM User is offline

Year: 1999
Make: Honda
Model: Civic
Engine Size: 1.6
Refrigerant Type: 134
Ambient Temp: 90
Pressure Low: 40
Pressure High: 225
Country of Origin: United States

I'm working on a 1999 Honda Civic

Vent temps are not very cold

Low side is 40, High is 225 at idle

Pressures change to Low side 20 High Side 300 if I rev to 2000RPM

Does this sound right, or is it overcharged?

Condenser fan is working fine

Thanks

Pressures do not look bad overall. Might crimp off the hot water line to the heater core and see if cooling improves.
