Hello Everyone,

I was hoping someone that works at or who has installed one of there complete a/c kits could answer a few simple questions about there installation. The kit iam most interested in is the AMA16872-2037. I had the installation directions emailed to me but there was no mention about what type and quantity of oil that is needed if any? Are the compressors, drier / accumulators and hoses (insides coated) with oil out of the box? Or must this be done before installation? Either way I would like to know the type of oil needed and the systems quantity for later reference. I like to lightly coat the orings during installation to avoid pinching or puckering them and I prefer to use the same PAG oil.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You

Jason Croyle

Compressor has oil already in it. Add the extra 2 ounce bottle to the drier before installing and you are set as far as the oil capacity.
