Condenser Check

Biesmeyer on Thu June 11, 2009 12:29 PM User is offline

Year: 2003
Make: Mini
Model: Cooper
Engine Size: 1.6
Refrigerant Type: r134
Ambient Temp: 80
Pressure Low: 30
Pressure High: 150
Country of Origin: United States

What is the best way to check a condenser for blockage? I am holding a vacuum, I got cool air, but not cold. I just can't get this figured out. My gauges were my problem before. Now my readings are up within. I just want to know what kind of cooling I should be getting in a mini with all that heat in a small engine compartment. Any help?

Check condenser core temp readings on each set of tubing.
