how would you check for freon leaking past the orifice tube. i have a problem with getting it to cool down the vent temp. is about 50 degs. i replaced the compressor last year and had the problem since then i think it may be a bad compressor i have never seen the high side pasted 175 to me this seems low the system calls for 5 pound that is what i put in. one last thing the outlet tube on the dryer is ice cool

thanks

Try measuring the inlet and outlet tubes of the evap. They should be very close to the same temp.
