Oil type and condenser capacity - 2002 Caravan

tscaravan on Sun May 17, 2009 2:54 PM User is offline

Year: 2002
Make: Dadge
Model: Grand Caravan
Engine Size: 3.8
Refrigerant Type: 134a
Country of Origin: United States

I'm about to change the condenser on a 2002 Grand Caravan. I have the system capacities, both refrigerant and oil, but I need to know how much oil just for the condenser. Also need the type of PAG oil (which viscosity) came from the factory, so I can add the same type.

Does anyone have this info? Thanks.

Yes that is extremely helpful. Thank you very much.

Edit: I forgot: IIRC, Chrysler recommended procedure is to charge with manifold open to both high and low sides with engine off. Correct?
