67 chevelle compressor help

gerard76 on Wed May 06, 2009 6:20 PM User is offline

Year: 1967
Make: chevy
Model: chevelle
Engine Size: 350
Refrigerant Type: 134
Country of Origin: United States

I have a factory a/c 67 chevelle that I put a gm performance serpentine kit on. Does any one know what compressor will fit my application?

Send an e-mail to the guys at ackits.com and see what they have to offer. Might be able to get something that won't require to much work, like new hoses etc.. Hope this helps.

As it turns out, the guys at Ackits.com DO have the aluminum replacement A6 compressors, and they do offer them in the 6 and 8 groove pulleys, so that is the way I would go, those new replacement compressors hold up pretty well, and I think they will be big this year... Hope this helps..

Did I say 5 & 8 or 6 & 8 groove?

6 & 8 groove serpentine is correct.

Reminds me of someone getting on my case concerning the color of a blue orifice tube!
