Seltec compressor pulley

ScotY on Wed March 18, 2009 2:50 AM User is offlineView users profile

Year: 1988
Make: Suzuki
Model: Samurai

I have a Seltec compressor that has a v-belt pulley and want to change the pulley to a ribbed style. I think it is 4-5 grooves, about 1/2" wide belt. Is this possible to do? Any special tools required?

Thanks, Scot

We do use clutch R & R tools when replacing clutch components. I have a Master Kit but an item such as this should work fine.

Would you happen to have a link to that kit and the pulley in your store? Also, any online instructions or pictures on how to change it?

Thanks, Scot

Not a lot to it. Hub is pulled off, snap ring holds on pulley and coil. Important issue is matching the clutch components mounting configurations.
