new a/c in an old car

Year: 81/01
Make: volkswagen
Model: rabbit
Engine Size: 1.8T

I am swapping a 1.8T from a 01 Jetta into my 81 Rabbit pickup. I have already installed the Jetta HVAC so I have the Jetta expansion Valve on the firewall and the stock compressor(SD7V16). I dont have alot of room left for a condenser, however there is a 12 x 14 listed which should fit.
So getting to the question.... Are fittings available to connect to the VW OE valve and compressor? Will the smaller condenser work with the compressor?

You will need to find the fittings/hoses for the OEM parts still being used and have the ends cut off to be reused for the retro of the aftermarket condenser. These will have to be done in a local shop for proper fit. Hope this helps and good luck!!
