Shipping to Canada?

TD509EFI on Tue February 24, 2009 12:44 AM User is offline

Before I give you guys a call with my list, thought I should ask if you ship to us in Canada. Looking to purchase condenser, hoses, fittings, etc for a 134a conversion.

Thanks!

John

We can but we ship using UPS Worldship and they will require you to pay the import taxes upon delivery. This is a additional cost above the cost of the items and freight. Paying the import duties is required by law which we at ACKits.com do follow.

PS: Our online system will not accept credit cards based outside the US. But we can process them in house if you want to place an order.

Thanks! I'll get my list made up, along with a couple of questions, and give you a call.

That is fine but be aware that these tariffs imposed are not set by us and are very expensive. In the past I have been told it's as much as the purchase if not more.

you are best to have it shipped by us postal services, much cheaper because ups charge for brokerage fee and other paper work , on a $89.00 order it will cost over $50.00 extra for del. and customs fees where asit might cost 5 or 10 dollars for uspost so if they dont ship us post don't buy, if you are buying say $1000.00 it wouldnt matter

Or you could have them stash it in the back of one of those boats "delivering" cigarettes via Lake Champlain.

For the small package shipments we send outside the US; US mail has proven to be just as efficient and costs much less than UPS.
